DAY 1 - RIO, ILHA GRANDE
Morning transfer from Rio. Arrival at Angra dos Reis or Mangaratiba, where you will take a ferryboat to Abraao village; Reception by bilingual local guide and walking transfer to your hotel (cars are not allowed in the island). Reconnaissance tour (Main points: restaurants, bars, Internet, Mail, Diving Operators, Lazaretto ruins, Aqueduct and Preta beach). Accommodation.
DAY 2 - ILHA GRANDE
Depart to Lagoa Azul (Blue Lagoon). In the shallow part of this lagoon affording blue transparent waters, you will find an abundance of colorful corals and fish which feed off of your hand (all of this is what turns the Blue Lagoon one of the most visited locations in Ilha Grande). The trip will continue with a stop at Praia da Freguesia de Santana. There you will have the chance to get to know two beaches in addition to the historical Santana Church (built in 1796). This location was the first place in Ilha Grande to be populated, and in the last century, it was the center for economical development of the island housing a slave colony. Returning to the boat, passengers will take a break at Saco do Céu (meaning Sky Bay), a small bay with still waters that received its name because at night you can admire the reflection of the stars on the oceans´ surface. DAY 3 - ILHA GRANDE
Day at Leisure. We recommend visiting Lopes Mendes beach, considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Accommodation.
DAY 4 - ILHA GRANDE, RIO
Breakfast. Transfer back by trolley with English speaking guide to Abraão village. Boat transfer to Mangaratiba pier. Car transfer to Rio de Janeiro. Drop off at Rio’s hotel or airport.

From the Abraão village, the main urban center of the Island, the open treks take you to semi-virgins beaches and lagoons.
